AppleCare and AppleCare+ are Apple's own extended warranty programs for iPhone, iPad, iPod, and Mac. Anytime you buy a new Apple product, you get at least one year limited AppleCare warranty that covers hardware failures and manufacturing defects. Some limitations apply and the length of the standard warranty depends on your country. You can choose to extend your AppleCare warranty if you choose for an additional time period. For iPhones and iPads, AppleCare+ also covers accidents such as liquid damage, broken screens, and more.
